Over the weekend I did an interview with the very talented Leslie from Insentient. They played  a benefit show for Adrian Mejia from Metal WarZone at The Norwalk Moose Lodge in Whittier, CA. They played along with Zombie Eat Horse, Mutants of War, Death Inquisition, Syrebris and Nihilitus. It was a pleasure to hang out and talk with her a bit about their new album as well as about the future plans of Insentient before the show on Feb. 22nd, 2013. Check out the video! \,,/,

Sidenote: Dez & Mike...

Wow, it's official guys! I have pretty much dreamt about every guy in DevilDriver. I know right so soon, it's fuckin' tripping me out! It was a short and sweet "dream". I'm starting to wonder if it was a premonition because I was half asleep when it happened. It's good news tho, no one got injured or anything. Again, this could have easily been a premonition, it was blurry and was a bit hard to understand what exactly they were talking about...

(Dez, Mike)

In this dream it was just Dez and Mike. They were lounging around in what seemed to be a hotel room. It was a small room with white walls, two twin beds and some wooden chairs right next to them. Dez was sitting in the one of the chairs watching TV and Mike was sitting on the bed with his feet up on either the wall or another chair, I couldn't really tell. They both did seem like they were antsy. They were talking about a recent project they both had done together. When all of a sudden a certain announcement of something came on the TV and caught both, Dez and Mike's attention.

Apparently whatever project these two were working on,  just went mainstream and it was getting alot of PR, more then what they usually get. They were talking about it, on how it took forever to get it out but that it was well worth it. Much of the conversation was inaudible to me. But you get the picture. They worked hard like always and are reaping in all the glory.

Could this actually happen to these guys? Who knows, only time will tell. They're a bunch of talented men and are more than deserving of what they do for their craft! I wish nothing but the best for them and I do hope their music does go mainstream. The public will benefit for sure!   \,,/, ^_^

DevilDriver

 

(John, Chris, Dez, Jeff, Mike)

 



Wow, I know DevilDriver is one of my favorite bands and all but, why am I dreaming about them so fuckin' much?! In this instance, not good I suppose. Seriously something big is going to happen to some of these guys, I just don't know what exactly. This time I had a dream about Jeff, the other guitarist from DevilDriver. He's a fuckin fox too but in this dream I didn't do anything with him (shucks)....Happy Birthday Jeff & Mike! (& Me!)

I had just woken up and I heard some loud commotion outside. I look through my window and see a large group of people standing in front of my neighbor's house. I notice that alot of them were dressed in white clothing. Then I see my neighbor pull up the driveway and I see that he has a passenger. It so happens to be that Jeff was with him. Oh my god, how the hell does Jeff know my neighbor? I know he himself is in the entertainment industry too but wow, how and where did they meet? I need to know! So I change my clothes as fast as I can and head my out to where everyone was at and see what was going on.

As I make way through the crowd to talk to my neighbor, I notice that Jeff saw me coming his way and started to head my way. I was a bit caught off guard at the fact that he kind of went out of this way to say Hi and talk to me for a bit. (For the times that I did get the chance to meet and hangout with him in real life, yes he is a cool and down to earth dude but for me he did seem a little cold when we were hanging out.)

I don't remember what exactly we talked about however I was just in awe of spending time and getting to know him better. Then he introduces me to his girlfriend. She's really beautiful and petite with long medium brown hair and eyes. There happened to be a beam of light around her and the people that were there. Kind of like your guardian angels in a sense. I couldn't look at her for a long time because she would hurt my eyes, in a good way. I then ask her on why they were all here in the first place. She said they're here for a funeral that they were going to attended.

At first I was dumbfounded because everyone in the crowd seemed like they were pretty happy about something and they were also dressed in white. Jeff's girlfriend then proceeds to say that they are celebrating the person's life rather then on being cumbersome and grieving for the loss of the loved one. I thought it was noble of them to honor the decease's wishes. She then invites me to go along with her, Jeff and my neighbor to the funeral. They were going to walk to the place of service since it was so close that there was really no need for the transportation.

We get going, and make our way to the end of the driveway and this is where my dream ends. It was pretty cool to dream of someone who I truly admire them for their creativity and musicianship. He touches the guitar and it just plays sweet nothings. Though it does trip me out that it seems like whenever I see him, whether it'd be a concert or an event I seem to bother him a bit, it could just be me but who knows....All that matters is that the fame and fortune didn't go to his head. I'm glad for that.
