Vitameatavegamin

Happy Halloween Everyone, It's my favorite holiday for sure! :-]

I Love Lucy was one of my favorite shows to watch when I was a child growing up. Looking back I watched a lot of old school type TV shows like The Addams Family with John Astin & Carolyn Jones, Batman with Adam West and The Munsters to name a few. Seriously the good ol' classic TV shows that were great to watch at any age......

I don't know what is it however for some reason I've always had a problem with my sleep. I used to sleep against the wall, sitting up. Just imagine a 90 degree (right) angle. Yes it was that bad that if I didn't sleep in that position or against something, I wouldn't be able to sleep at all. For that I had my tonsils and adenoids removed when I was 6 years old. Not that removing them would help or anything but I developed insomnia not to long after.

On this one particular night I remember I was sleeping pretty peaceful. I don't know why or what woke me up but I did. As I started to open my eyes and get a hold of my vision, I noticed a man floating up in the top corner of my room. He was an older Caucasian  man, he was either bald or had very little hair, he was wearing a nice looking '50s style suit and tie with black shiny shoes but he was entirely in black and white like the picture below...This is definitely a classic I must say!

He was talking and moving his lips but nothing was audible, at least not to me. It kind of felt like he was advertising something. Seemed as if it was a constant continuation and/or repeat of a commercial, outtake or blooper of some sorts. For some reason I got the vibe that he may of had something to do with the "I Love Lucy's Vitameatavegamin" episode. I was for sure scared out of my mind. Shit who wouldn't be? To wake up from your sleep in the middle of the night to find some weird old man floating in your room trying to talk to you. Um, you swear! I didn't get a bad feeling or vibe from this man he wasn't evil or anything but I think, just lost and/or possibly looking for someone to talk to so to speak for that matter.

I was too frozen to move, scream or to do anything. But somehow I mustered up enough energy and courage to wake up my younger brother who was in the room with me to see if he himself could see what I was seeing. My brother woke up somewhat disoriented and spooked. I asked him if he saw the man floating in our room to which he said he could and started to scream his little vocal cords out and he ran to our parents room. Not too long after he did that, I soon followed as well. We stayed in their room for the rest of the night as they tried to console us. Looking back on it now, when I was running it seemed like I was looking at myself run from my bed to my parents room. Strange I know, what could it be I have not the slightest clue. I know for a fact I was not dreaming this because I remember waking up in my parents room later on that day. Has something like this happen to you? Share you stories.
